When we invest in God’s kingdom, we invest in eternity. And we can be sure that when we give to Him, He provides much more in return.

Luke 6:38 says: Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.

What does it mean to give by faith?

During this exciting season we encourage all of us to establish a faith goal for our giving to BUILD. That means rather than answering the question “What can I afford to give?” we commit the question to PRAYER, and give based on how God answers that prayer and how HE provides.

E-Transfer

Login to online or mobile banking at your participating financial institution and choose Interac e-Transfer within the transfer/payment menu option. Set up your sender profile and add Centre Street Church. There is no need for a security question. Using the email account giving@cschurch.ca enter the amount you wish to give. In the message line please include your full name, address (this information is necessary if you wish to receive a tax receipt) and if you would like your gift to be designated. Undesignated funds will be added to Centre Street Church’s general City and Mission Fund. The funds will be debited from your account immediately.

EFT Withdrawal

Set up payments to automatically be withdrawn from your bank account, on the 5 or 20th by email giving@cschurch.ca or by calling 403.520.2656

Text to Give

Text “Give” to our number (587)741-3027 to set up your account. Once your account is set up, simply text a dollar amount (eg. 100) and your gift has been made. It takes about five seconds to complete.

I remember the excitement of our first Giving God Room Campaign in the Fall of 2001. As a church, we knew we had to build and as members of a church family, we had an overwhelming sense that God was using us to be a part of something much bigger than ourselves. The Holy Spirit was so present with us in that journey; there was no question in our minds whether we were going to support that campaign. The question was how. It was a blessing to see the diverse and unique ways each of us discovered, in our hearts and in our lives, how we could give sacrificially. I remember all of us placing our commitment pledge envelopes in the offering plate. It wasn’t a moment of inward groaning or reluctance. It was pure JOY! It was not the foreseen joy of being in a big new building but the foreseen joy of witnessing LIVES changed and ministered to in that building! The eternal ramifications felt so tangible! God led us through that journey… we as a church family raised all the funds to build Central Campus. There were so many celebration moments along the way… standing around the church perimeter to pray, writing the names of our loved ones on stones and placing them under the stage. So many of those loved ones came to know Jesus and are still coming to know Him today.
