Praise the Lord!! Central Campus is making good progress and our new Bearspaw Campus will be opening sometime this summer. 

We are so grateful for how God has led us thus far and continues to lead us! We provided an in-depth update on our BUILD journey, our financial status and our construction progress at the BUILD Townhall on June 7. In summary, we celebrated how God has moved through our journey over the last three years. We showed a movie that captured our journey, including many challenges and victories. Additionally, we updated you on the progress of our BUILD giving goals. As of April 2021 giving was at $14.8M, and the giving period is now being extended because we did not reach our original giving goal of $18M and project costs have increased. The remaining construction is expected to take about two years, and if giving to the projects continues at the current rate, the project could be fully paid in about three years.

Please join us in praying for the project as we move into the next chapter. Pray for construction including safety for the workers. Pray for further work to refine the cost estimates which will be taking place over the summer, and as we prepare for another communication this fall.

Bearspaw Campus

We are close to having an occupancy permit inspection!! Once we receive our occupancy permit, we are excited to start moving in and finalizing plans to have worship services in this new home. Please join us in prayer for these final preparations and pray for our neighbours. Also pray for the landscaping which will be ongoing through the summer. The picture below shows some of the landscaping on the slope below the building. 

 

Central Campus

We are still making good progress on the steel structure of the addition. If you can come to the building for services, we suggest you take some time to walk around or drive around (on the perimeter of the construction fencing of course 😊). While you are doing that, please pray for the workers and for God’s guidance as this work continues. The picture below shows that there continues to be good progress on drywalling of the new second floor in the NE corner.

As we celebrate and acknowledge how God has moved in the last three years of our BUILD journey, we are now stepping into the next chapter of our giving towards BUILD more room for God. We are trusting the Lord for giving to continue as we complete the work. Giving received to date is available at this link.
